Access to the 6dFGS database
Access to the database is via html forms. The menu driven, SQL and
Xmatch forms parse the user's input and submit an SQL (Structured Query
Language) request to the database.
For users unfamiliar with SQL the menu driven form
provides guidance in constructing a query.
The SQL query box form allows users more comfortable with SQL access
to a wider range of SQL commands and syntax.
The forms allow the user to select different types of output (HTML,
CSV or a TAR saveset of FITS files).

Sample queries are given under examples.
